EDI assessment tool

The EDI Assessment Tool for Private Companies is designed to help organisations evaluate their current capacity and progress on institutional DEI mainstreaming. Built around 9 key impact drivers that drive institutional change, this self-assessment tool offers a structured framework for companies to identify both strengths and areas for improvement.

Upon completion, your organisation will receive a comprehensive report outlining your standing across six developmental stages, with tailored recommendations on how to advance. This tool provides valuable insights that can help you track progress over time, enabling sustainable and impactful change. We recommend revisiting the assessment every 12 to 18 months to continuously measure improvement and ensure alignment with your EDI goals.

EDI Awareness and Education

The EDI Awareness and Education service option consists of interactive workshops and training sessions designed to enhance understanding of EDI principles. These workshops employ participatory and co-creation techniques to ensure practical, hands-on learning that is directly applicable to participants’ daily work. Each session is fully customisable, allowing companies to choose specific themes that align with their operational context and the needs of their teams. 

The sessions can be tailored for specific audiences and can be delivered in person or online, with flexible durations ranging from 3 to 6 hours. Yellow Window’s tailored approach ensures that the content is relevant, impactful, and designed to foster a truly inclusive culture.

EDI Consulting and Education

The EDI Consulting and Education service option offers two flexible options tailored to the specific needs and goals of your organisation. Both approaches begin with an organisational diagnostic and audit, providing critical insights into your current EDI landscape, followed by tailored training session(s). 

Pathway A: Comprehensive Facilitation  

  • In-depth organisational diagnostic and audit facilitated by YW 
  • Insights from internal policy reviews, surveys, interviews, and focus groups with employees at various levels  
  • Detailed diagnostic report with key strengths and areas for improvement  
  • Tailored training session(s) based on the findings 
  • Additional support can be provided to co-create policies and strategies, such as Gender Equality Plans, EDI strategies, or anti-harassment policies
