Study into the situation and trends regarding Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in the 27 EU Member States and Croatia

In 2011, the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) commissioned this study to a consortium of researchers from Yellow Window and the International Centre for Reproductive Rights (UGhent). The study mapped and analysed existing information on prevalence, legislation, policies, actors, tools and methods for combating FGM in all EU Member States. An in-depth component of the research analysed the approach to FGM in 9 Member States.
